This group of tea has definitely been a lesson in the fact that knowing when I’m going to be done formulating is not always very predictable! I had been hoping to finish them by the end of April, in fact I had 9 or 10 of them finished! However, a few teas were just not working out for me, flavours weren’t turning out how I wanted them, and then reformulation had to happen.
It’s also a lesson that sometimes flavours that work in baked goods, or food that we actually eat doesn’t translate very well with the ingredients I have for tea. And that’s ok, because now I know!

Aquarius

Aquarius - Josephine Wall

Dates: January 20-February 18

Symbol: The water bearer

Element: Air

Ruling Planet: Uranus

Divine Cup Bearers:
Ganymede (Greek), Hebe (Greek)

Characteristics of an Aquarian:
To sum it all up into a few words: one of a kind. Aquarians work hard at being individual and true to no one but themselves. While sometimes they will keep their appearance similar to the rest of us, the moment they voice their opinions, you’ll know you’re speaking to an Aquarian; and even when these opinions may seem radical and out there, they are more often than not quite logical. Being excellent observers of people, they can easily understand and sympathize with any and all points of view, which is no easy task for the average person!

Those born under the sign of Aquarius love their freedom. They enjoy being able to do all those unusual things most people would never attempt at the thought of what others would  think. The more strange, the better. In terms of relationships, Aquarians enjoy being with people who are quite different from anyone they know. However, if you wish to stay with your Aquarian, remember to work on your friendship and allow them to be who they are, to do what they love; freedom is of utmost importance to them.

Characteristics of a Libra:
Librans tend to be charming, elegant, gentle, kind and lovers of beauty and harmony. They are able to stand back and view the big picture in a critical fashion, however, do not handle others questioning their opinions as once they’ve concluded on said opinions, they believe that their found truths are self-evident. Coupled with this is low tolerance for criticism and greediness for approval.
However, these darker aspects are usually not too prominent as Librans tend to have very balanced personalities. They are quite sensitive to others’ needs, and seem to have a sixth sense about emotions, being able to bring their optimism to any situation. They do not like viciousness, violence, cruelty, and despise arguments and conflicts between people. They always try to compromise and cooperate, achieving what they perceive is the best outcome for all.
